All products are handmade. There will be imperfections, the rim may not be perfectly circular and there maybe texture on the surface of the item. These are normal features of a handmade vessel. All items are food safe and can be used in the microwave. Washing in the dishwasher is ok (although I prefer to hand wash to ensure a long life).
